As Winter makes way for Spring, my attention turns to fashion. Before I think about my own wardrobe (I’ll come to that later), I make sure my Little Love’s are stepping out to play looking fabulous and fun. Truth is, I love nothing more than styling-up my girls.
Both are having there own fashion transformations. As Little D approaches her first birthday, she needs to start wearing more versatile clothes that give her the freedom to move. I’m a little sad she’s moving out of her baby stage so quickly – I’m a fan of dressing babies like babies and adore the cuteness of the ‘Babygrow’!
Top of my shopping list for Little D this Spring are romper sets from Greenberry Kids, which look great with or without tights, as we move into Summer. I Love Gorgeous has such a pretty dress called, ‘Poppy Baby Dress’, in fluro pink. I adore all the bright, fun, colours around this season. Every girl (big or small) needs a special summer dress – the brighter the better!
Little D has the fortune of inheriting some amazing ‘vintage’ Petit Bateau playsuits from Big D in various adorable floral and striped prints. It’s such a delight to bring out some of my favorite little numbers from Big D’s baby closet. (The Petit Bateaus have passed the wear-and-tear test of time with flying colours!)
Big D has now well and truly overtaken Mummy in the style stakes, and is now taking on a more girly appearance. Rocking out in Jacardi skinny jeans and an array of beautiful blouses, I do often look at her clothes and turn a touch green.
On her shopping list is the ‘Buttercup Star Blouse’ from Greenberry Kids and the Tie Back Blouse from Marie Chantal (currently on sale at £27.00). For shoes, I love Papouelli and will be snapping up the Tonto in Pink Sparkle.
Please share any style and shopping tips – I’d love to hear your ideas!
