Little D’s Second Year in Pictures

Little D’s Second Year in Picturesfeatured

I wanted to post a collection of photos from the last year to celebrate Little D turning three last Saturday.

My Little Love, this year has seen you blossom in so many ways. You have such strength of character, balanced perfectly with your sweet, sweet soul.

I have seen you and your sister truly find each other and become best friends which makes me burst with happiness (even though you now don’t let me play – as you told me today, “No adults allowed!”).

You’ve made such lovely little friends at nursery, and you loved dancing with them at your party. You can ride a pony, ski and and generally try your hand at anything your sister’s doing. When you had a running race (against the Easter Bunny πŸ˜‰ in Jersey a couple of weeks ago, I saw in you a steely determination that will stand you in good stead.

But, as your ski instructor told me in his thick French accent, it is important that you “know yourself”. By which (I think), he was observing that you are 3 and not 5 years old, and that perhaps not everything you see others doing is yet for you. One day though, and for the rest of your life!

You are such a darling child and I’m so grateful that three years ago you chose to light up our World. You completed us.

Happy Birthday, angel.

Love Mummy B
