As the leaves turn russet red and their autumnal hues become the new backdrop to walks in the park, those chilly looking little ankles and chubby knees begin to cry out for a new wardrobe. Both girls have grown so much over the Summer months, providing the perfect excuse to indulge my favorite past time….styling my own fashion pack!
My two living dolls get little joy from shopping these days, so I indulge my habit with a bit of internet shopping while they nap – no doubt dreaming of the lovely clothes they will be wearing this fall.
First stop is always Greenberry Kids. The lovely Joo set up Greenberry Kids to showcase fabulous brands from her home country, Korea. After receiving so many compliments about her young fashionista daughter, Joo wanted to bring these stylish numbers to a wider audience. I just can’t get enough of the fresh, cute designs that are always well priced.
As seen above left & Right:
- Arim Closet White frill Blouse £29.00
- Checkred Bloomers £34.00
- Floral Cardigan £32.00
- Lala Bear Romper (Pink) £35.00
Marie Chantal has a special place in my heart, especially their iconic angel wing pieces. We bought Big D home from hospital in the sweetest pink-winged babygrow. This year, I’ll be investing in the Angel Wing sweater (above middle) which is pure cashmere, meaning those adorable cuddles are even more snuggly (totally impractical I know, and completely over-indulgent, but I can’t resist, especially as it’s on sale for £62.00). Perfect teamed with skinny jeans or a tutu!
My most recent Instagram discovery is Alexandros Baby and Kids. I was so happy to stumble across this chic brand. Their clothes are perfect for more formal occasions like a christening or winter wedding. The girls would look shi-shi in matching grey tweed dresses £49.99, see above. I just love a frilly collar!
I’ve credited Petit Bateau for their great durability and quality previously (see my Mini Fashionistas post). This season is no exception. I was delighted to stock up on day-to-day essentials on the weekend, perfect for nursery and play dates. I particularly love that the girl and baby collections give a wink and a nod to each other!
- Baby girl long sleeved floral print dress £25.00
- Girls stripped Breton top with Peter Pan collar £29.50
- Girls floral print flared skirt £34.00
Then a regal rummage in Trotters. This is one of the only shops the girls like to visit – with their over-sized fish tank, floor to ceiling toy collection and wooden life-size car there sure is plenty to look at while Mummy B browses the rails of beautiful clothes fit for a princess.
From lovely liberty print dresses and blouses to bows in every colour, this store really is a one stop shop for sartorial sweeties (and the lollipops by the counter are a great treat for brilliant behavior).
- Mitsi jersey dress £54.00
- Millie gillet £34.00
- Pretty bow Alice band in vanilla £8.00
So there you go my mini fash-pack Mummies, I hope this gives you some inspiration for your Little Loves.
Love Mummy B
